Born in San Luis, Argentina, in 1953. Undergraduate degree in Mathematics at UNSL in 1975. Ph.D in Mathematics at UNSL in 1982.
Post-doctoral Fellow at Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, with Ehud Kalai (1987-1989). Full Professor at Department of Mathematics, UNSL, since 1991. Principal Researcher in CONICET, since 2014. Director, Instituto de Matemática Aplicada San Luis, since 2002.
